Upcoming Research Into Action Webinar: Accuracy of Medical Marijuana Claims Made by Popular Websites
June 13, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
If you have questions about the reliability of medical marijuana claims online, the latest installment of CADCA’s webinar series, “Conversations: Putting Research Into Action,” on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EDT, will demonstrate how to determine whether such claims are evidence-based. This month’s conversation will be with Morgan Sperry, Pharm.D., and Katelyn Boatwright, Pharm.D, regarding their article entitled “Accuracy of Medical Marijuana Claims Made by Popular Websites,” published in 2018 in Journal of Pharmacy Practice. The authors will discuss their finding that 76% of claims made on the top 10 websites most commonly used to access medical marijuana information are inaccurate.
